Whenever I need a break from my current audiobook (and I’m not dancing it out to some 90’s throwback playlist) I like to turn on a podcast. Because I’m usually listening to these while folding laundry, taking the kids for a walk, staining a tabletop or taking a shower, I’m not looking for anything too heavy. I’m not really hoping to educate myself – if it happens, then fab, but it’s not my priority. And Sweet Jesus, parenting podcasts are like one big wet fart in my opinion. I am never doing something enough, always doing something else too much, my kids are going to grow up to be psychopaths and we eat too much gluten. No thank you, I do not need to forfeit an hour of my time to end up feeling stressed out and mediocre at momming. (If you have any parenting podcast suggestions that don’t stink, feel free to share!)
And so, I give to you, 4 podcasts that are light-hearted, sometimes laugh out loud funny and most importantly still understandable when listened to at 1.75x.
